Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language support within a K-12 school setting, assisting students across elementary grades. The role requires a dynamic professional to deliver effective therapy services during a leave coverage period.
Location: Pottstown, PA
Duration: January to March 2026
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM 3:45 PM
Work Hours: Flexible between 25 to 37.5 hours per week
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active SLP teaching certification required for school setting
- Experience in delivering speech-language therapy within elementary schools preferred
- Ability to adapt to multiple school environments within the district where needed
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in elementary schools during the leave coverage period
- Assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting
- Maintain required documentation and comply with district policies and procedures
